General Club information
13U Age Class - Athletes born from September 1, 2003 to Dec 31, 2004 (or later) 13U is the youngest age class that VA runs. It is designed with a focus on skill development and having lots of fun. This category leads to a Provincial Championship. Long Term Athlete Development guidelines in the Train to Train stage suggest 70% of time is spent training and 30% in competition. Fee's 1500 includes:
Practices 2-2.5 pracitces a week with 3 Alberta tournaments, and 3 Calgary tournaments.
14U Age Class- Athletes born from September 1, 2002 to December 31, 2003 (or later) 14U is designed with a focus on skill development and having lots of fun. 15U is the first level in Alberta’s elite development system, which leads to the Volleyball Canada Championships. This
category of play also leads to Alberta’s Provincial Team Program for outstanding individual athletes. The Long Term

These categories of play also lead to Alberta’s Provincial Team Program for outstanding individual athletes.
